- Caregiver Training Programs: Caregiver and Nursing Aide Certification
Caregiving requires many skill sets, as any caregiver who has been met with resistance by a senior when it was time for medications to be taken can tell you. From keeping up with specific needs of age-related medical conditions to maintaining proper nutrition, quality senior care requires knowledge about caregiving. You may take a FREE SAMPLE CERTIFIED NURSING AIDE TEST to learn about some of the skills taught in a C.N.A. Program and find a C.N.A. School in your area. A 10-hour Online Caregiver Certification training program is now available, created to match training requirements for professional caregivers which are now required in some states, such as Illinois. Family and professional caregivers can take the 10-hour training to become qualified as senior caregivers. If you are already employed with a senior care company, ask them to pay for your 10-hour Caregiver Certification training to show you are motivated to keep up with the latest skills and techniques to deliver quality care.
