6-year renewal cycle for ages 16-64 (in-person)
Vision and knowledge test at renewal.
Minimum acuity: 20/40 better eye; 20/60 better eye with doctor report; worse than 20/60 must demonstrate ability to operate vehicle safely and have safe record for 3 years.
At age 65, renewal every 4 years.
