Rhode Island senior caregivers may learn basic caregiver training skills by taking the online caregiver training through Caregiver Training University.

Caregivers working as homemakers and home health aides through the states program for the disabled and community care are required to complete 20 Hours in Classroom and 5 Hours Practical training on abuse and neglect.
