Yes, we are always looking for trustworthy individuals who have an understanding of the challenges presented in daily living for those suffering from medical conditions caused by aging or other diseases. Because you have cared for many friends and family members, you have a great base to build upon. We provide care for seniors who just need companion care because of memory loss or lack of mobility, as well as for seniors who may need more hands-on care and would require a caregiver with the skills learned in a Certified Nursing Aide program. Caregivers who are seeking to learn more skills may want to attend free training seminars provided by local community programs. Job specific education initiatives are also available with some Senior Home Care Agencies.

In establishing my own small business, I am uncertain about the rates that are customary for line by line services. Is there a sample breakdown of fees, for the state of Georgia, and is mileage included?

Is it a requirement that caregivers own an auto? I plan on getting one this winter but would like to enter the caregiving field sooner, preferably in the Chicagoland area. I am fully active though I retired 6 months ago. I am a university graduate and my background includes work as a caseworker, respiratory therapist, nursing home receptionist, and helping care for my incapacitated mother.

I have taken care of my grandmother and mother. Providing care to them. I have had nurse's training many years ago. I would like to be a companion and assist with daily needs, such as shopping, cleaning, and preparing meals on a part time basic. I would like to speak to someone in reference to providing such services. I enjoy working with seniors and helping them to enjoy theirs lives to the fullest. I would like to acquire additional training through a agency.
