Caregiver Training University offers digital training courses that allow you to be certified as a caregiver. California caregivers now must complete 10 hours of training to become certified in their first year and then 5 hours of training for each following year. The online course includes video tutorials and an audio version along with a glossary of terms to learn the senior care terminology and suggested books and videos. The caregiver training exam will allow you to confirm you have retained the knowledge and upon passing you will be able to view and print your certificate and be added to the registry of trained caregivers.
