Locations for Study: Austin, Texas - Encinitas, California - Decatur, Georgia - Hammond, Indiana -

Richmond, Kentucky - Greer, South Carolina - West Palm Beach, Florida

 

Requirements: must be a professional or family caregiver

Time Commitment: 1 hour to meet with a therapist at an office setting

 

Caregiver Recruitment Sponsor: Caregiverlist® "Caring for the Caregiver"

Participants in the study will receive the study results and learn about which of the approaches studied may be most effective in managing caregiver stress. Caregivers will talk about things they find most stressful or engage in a relaxation exercise. Learn more about Dr. Elliot D. Cohen, professor at Florida State University.

Study approved by the IRB (Institutional Review Board) with full accreditation from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP).
