I have been a caregiver for elders for approximately 4.5 years. During that time, I worked at an innovative assisted living facility for 3 years and for an agency (working mostly one-on-one) for 1.5 years. It is difficult to describe how meaningful these jobs have been for me. The elders in my care have enriched my life in so many ways and I know that I have done the same for them. It is wonderful to have a job where I make a difference in the lives of others. My goal is always to treat my clients with dignity and respect, but I also bring a sense of fun and liveliness to the job. In other words, while I take my duties seriously, I strive to be more than just an employee to my clients and their families. I would be happy to provide both personal and professional references.
