I worked for Kay for a year, helping with the shopping and helping around the house.
She needed a PCA for her daughter who has downs syndrome. At first I said no because I had not done this kind of work before.
I told her I would try it for 30 days. Well, I took the job and loved it. Sadly Kay went into a nursing home, and passed away Feb. 4 of this year. Her daughter is in foster care, but I still see her every other week.
They taught me a lot about people, and I am the lucky one to have met them.
