I met Ms. Molly through family members. She was a sweet old lady with a bunch of spice in her. She had diabetes and got an infection in her toe. I would go see her on a daily basis to check on her for my mother, and it began a wonderful relationship between us. I would visit her just to hear her stories of life and run errands for her. She became so comfortable and trusting of me that I would pay her bills for her.
She ended up at the hospital for an infection in her toe and she never came home. It was a simple infection from her diabetes, and was to be treated at the hospital and she was to come home in a couple of days. While in the hospital, the staff who cared for her left her wound open, and she caught what they call a "staph infection" for which they now wanted to amputate her foot.
I would visit her everyday and get instructions of what she wanted taken care of while she was there. I would read her stories, cards, and mail when I came to visit. She would have me buy her food from outside because she hated the hospital food. I took care of this woman for three years and I miss her dearly today. I love you Ms. Molly and God Bless.
