As a child I was introduced to elderly residents in different communities growing up. As time went on, I did research on how to become a caregiver. As a child I learned a lot about life listening to older people. I first had children of my own and had been very active with them. Then I went into the health care field. I have been in the nursing field for 8 years. I currently have my certification to take care of children and adults. I will continually further my education in the medical field. My reason for becoming a caregiver is that my mother and father were also caregivers.
