I used to care for Mr. Curda's 99-year-old Mother, Claire. She and I became the best of friends over the two years that I took care of her. I provided light housekeeping, did her laundry, provided transportation to and from the doctor's office. I did her grocery shopping and was also a friend and companion to her. We played cards, which was what she loved to do! She'd often ask "Do you have time to play cards" ? Claire has since passed on but I occasionally call her son, Wes, just to see how he's doing.
