Caregiving Story

Ruth V. Walker

I am currently a caregiver for my mother, Ruth Walker. She is 85 years young. She had a double bypass on her heart in 1999. She no longer drives because diabetes has caused a fluid buildup in the back of her eyes which gives her minimal vision. I take her to her publmonary exercises, doctor appointments and other errands. I prepare her meals and give her medications to her. I am looking to continue my caregiving skills by working as a professional caregiver when I am not caring for my mother because I enjoy assisting seniors.
