John L.Casey was a very humble man. He was actually a man who used to be a great salesman and businessman when he was of working age. He never took any medication in his life. I feel he was blessed to have lived such a wonderful, remarkable life. He enjoyed talking about his wife and World War II, of which he was a vet. He enjoyed life and he made each day he lived exciting. He was a very political man, loved home cooked meals, and his appetite was very good as well. We played dominoes, we went to play bingo, and he liked the way I didn't make him feel helpless. Whatever he could do on his own, I would definitely let him do, because this made him feel less dependent on others.
