I met Gilbert right after he had a tough divorce, and shortly after he had suffered a heart attack. He recovered by undergoing triple-by-pass heart surgery. Now, four years later, I am still serving as a caregiver for Gil, assisting him with all of his care needs. At times, it is tough for him because he is fighting pneumonia and mild depression. But, when I come around I put a smile on his face and he is happy that I care about him.
