My client was pretty much happy when I was with him, assisting him with his treatment visits. When he would ask me for candy which he was not suppose to have, I would always tell him I would first need to check with his doctor. He would keep on demanding that I give him candy. He would keep on asking and I would keep on listening to him ask for the same thing......which he somehow liked and then he would stop. My point in sharing this is to say that it does take a lot to care for a patient sometimes. Especially when they want you to do something that you are not able to do. I enjoy helping people, no matter what age they are and it gives me satisfaction to know fully that I have been able to help someone else feel better about their situation. I am happy to work as a Caregiver.
